WELCOME TO RISE

As the proverb goes “it takes a village to raise a child”.

To me this proverb speaks of our tamariki being an important and integral part of a healthy community. It describes a community that is connected, supportive and active in bringing up our tamariki and is a perfect description of what we are wanting to achieve as part of our RISE programme.

At Northcote Baptist Church we see ourselves as part of a vibrant Hillcrest/Northcote community and we want to warmly welcome all those who have signed up to our RISE programme. We are looking forward to meeting and getting to know you all (tamariki and their whānau) over the upcoming months.

RISE is just one of several programmes we deliver for our tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau so please don’t hesitate to ask our leaders about them or go to our website for further information.
