Debt Counselling: Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is a debt counseling charity which works in partnership with local churches such as Northcote Baptist to provide a free service for people who are struggling with unmanageable debt. CAP provides financial expertise such as creating budgets, liaising with creditors, advocating for clients, insolvency services and general financial support and advice. (read more here)
CAP Money: CAP Money is a three session financial education course which Northcote Baptist Church runs for the community. CAP Money teaches spending and money management skills, using simple practical tools to show participants how easy it is to get in control of their finances. This course is suitable for everyone; from students with low and marginal income, to people entering the workforce, people with low income, through to professionals and pensioners. (read more here)
