Welcome to the world of proteen.
What is proteen, I hear you ask?
proteen is run during the winter school terms (2 and 3) and is a hang-out place for “tween-agers” between years 7 and 9 (1st – 3rd form). It is run from the Youth Hall at Northcote Baptist Church between 6pm and 8pm on a Friday night!
Each week is different to the last with heaps of awesome activities that range from Dessert making night to Battle of the Sexes! Every week is heaps of fun and always has a cool theme!
At the end of every night we open up “The Fridge”. This is where each child can purchase chocolate or drinks (each a dollar) with a limit of $3 per child.
How do I become part of it? Do I need to enrol?
That’s the easiest part! You just turn up!
Any parents interested in what goes on or wanting to meet the leaders, feel free to come in and have a chat when dropping your kids off or picking them up! We would love to meet you!
