BLOKES is an initiative from Northcote Baptist Church where teams of between 5-7 people, with various skill levels but a common objective, come together to complete small projects. By serving our community we believe that we can help others to also serve.
Can we help you?
Blokes are currently looking for new projects. The projects we undertake should be about 2-3 hours in duration and are normally carried out on a Saturday morning.
There is no charge for this service – as it works on a principle of “Pay it Onwards”. The team leader will leave a coupon that shows how this works.
If your project is beyond our scope of abilities, we will advise you of such and help you to find an appropriate solution. Additionally, if your project is:
- urgent,
- needs to be done at a different time than Saturday morning,
- is longer than 3 hours, or
- if you have any other questions,
please contact us and one of our team leaders will be in touch with you.
Generally projects will be selected in the order they are received at the church office. A team leader will contact you during the week prior to starting your project.
