What is it?
Kids Rock is a great programme that runs every Sunday morning for kids from Year 2 – Year 6. We meet in the church lounge while the adults are in church. Activities include singing, drama, games and quizzes while learning Bible stories and truths, crafts, activities and so much more!
What can you expect?
Our church starts at 10:15 and most kids come with their families and join with the church for the first 15 minutes, before heading out into the lounge for Kids Rock. You can come into church and sit with friends or family, or if you would prefer, you can just turn up in time for Kids Rock at 10:30 am.
The first thing we do is meet in small groups for “Connection Time”. These are grouped according to age so chances are you’ll be with someone you know from school. Our leaders are parents or youth from our church – some of them you’ll know from Kids Club.
Then we’re all in together for a Large Group time, where we sing, play games and hear a story presented in a creative and challenging way.
After that, it’s back to small groups for activities and discussion related to the main story. We usually finish around 11:30 am.
