Here at Northcote, we believe that children are very important people – just as important as adults, in fact! We work hard to provide kids’ programmes which are age appropriate and fun, and where children can form friendships with each other while they learn more about God.
Sunday Services
On Sunday mornings children go in to church for Family Time in the first 15 minutes at from 10:15 then go out to programmes at 10:30. Parents of pre-schoolers need to check children in and out. The programmes finish at about 11:30am.
Crèche
(0 – 2 years)
Leave your wee ones in our well–equipped crèche. Feel free to leave your children with our crèche volunteers during the service, or stay with them. Morning tea is provided for the children.
Little Rock
(classes for 2-3 & 4-5 years)
A kindy-type programme for this age group, which includes singing, crafts, Bible stories, morning tea and loads of fun. We aim to each your children that they are special to God, and that He wants to be their friend. These groups take place in our Child Care Centre.
Kids Rock
Year 2 – Year 6.
Kids Rock is the best place for Primary School aged kids to be on a Sunday morning!
This hour-long programme includes singing, drama, games and quizzes while learning Bible stories and truths, and it all happens in our Lounge, directly across from the auditorium.
During Terms 2 and 3 we also run a social Friday night programme called Kids Club
Bolder
Year 7 – Year 9.
An exciting programme especially designed for this age group. This incorporates a Sunday morning programme throughout the year, and a social Friday night Programme (called ‘proteen’) during Terms 2 and 3
We also have a Parents Room available for Mums or Dads to take care of their babies, and still be a part of the service. The Parents room is located at the rear of the main auditorium.
