NBC Community After School Programme (CASP) has been providing high quality programmes over the past two years. We want to ask our local community for feedback about what programmes and activities they would like us to provide.
Fill in the survey before 24/06/16 to go into the draw to win a Whanau Fiesta fruit and vege pack from the Foodtogether.co.nz produce collective. Prize is valued $36.50 and feeds a family of 4 for a week.
Please forward this to your friends in the community with primary-aged children – we would like as wide a range of opinions as possible. Click on the link below to get started – it will only take a couple of minutes (promise!)
Last Sunday we had a great time sharing food and fellowship with the Morning English-speaking congregation and the Mandarin-speaking congregation. Several times a year we enjoy eating and chatting together and celebrating our NBC church community. A definite highlight is the delicious Chinese food!
Calling Auckland North Shore kids and families to a Light Party: Superheroes
A light party is a Halloween alternative for parents who are uncomfortable with their kids
going from door to door “trick or treating”, while others don’t like the death and darkness horror themes associated with the celebration or even the negative influence of “treat us or we’ll trick you” type behaviour…
Now those parents have an Glenfield Auckland alternative in Hillcrest where the Northcote Baptist Church is hosting a Light Party with the theme Superheroes for the community.
Venue: Northcote Baptist Church, 67 Eban Ave, Northcote 5:30 – 8:30 pm, in collaboration with the Glenfield Salvation Army Corps and St Aidan’s Presbyterian Church.
What: A carnival type event, including an inflatable obstacle course, giant catapult, face-painting, disco, muffins, crafts, games and much more!
Come dressed as your favourite superhero, and test your super powers in a variety of challenges (no scarey costumes please).
Entry by donation: all children receive a ticket entitling them to a variety of treats, adults get their own too!
To get your Express Pass, click us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org

Join us this ANZAC weekend where a line-up of top international and local speakers will sensitively and skilfully respond to the biggest objections that Christians encounter today – and equip you to live out a confident, yet gracious faith in your everyday life.
